Historical fiction and non-fiction researcher, writer, commentator and editor with a focus on 17th century England
With my passion for writing and history and a background in historical research, I write both fiction and non-ficition content and am available on a freelance basis for script writing, editing and proofing. I am a versatile writer, capable of producing content in various historic as well as contemporary niches. I create or edit content that engages and informs your audience.
As a qualified proof reader, my attention to historical detail is vital to ensure that your end product is authentic. Did the whores of Southwark use any contraception? How did a Tudor princess break her fast? Why can't my 17th century heroine be called Charlotte? My skill set ensures that your content is historically accurate, fluid and
As a qualified proof reader, my attention to historical detail is vital to ensure that your end product is authentic. Did the whores of Southwark use any contraception? How did a Tudor princess break her fast? Why can't my 17th century heroine be called Charlotte? My skill set ensures that your content is historically accurate, fluid and error-free. I take pride in delivering work that is polished and professional, with the tiniest of historical details checked and refined, enhancing your work in a powerful way.

I will ensure that your text is historically authentic and ensuring your readers enjoy a truly immersive experience.
Educated to masters level, with English, Legal and Historical Research qualifications, after 15 years working in London, I moved out to rural Warwickshire, a county just dripping with historical juice and myriad opportunities to write and research. I am currently researching a novel about Lucius Carey, 2nd Viscount Falkland and his creation of the Great Tew Circle in 1630s.
I have helped historical writers and content creators many times with their research, working together to perfect and present the desired end result. Recent projects I have worked on include The World Turned Upside Down website. I also write and edit screenplays which I am hoping to take to the next level soon.
